  
This adapter allows you can mount your lathe chuck or face plate along with your workpiece directly onto your lathes banjo. Choose the adapter which matches your spindle size. Then choose a tool post from our Modular Tool Rest System in our Exclusive Woodturning Products Section. Screw the adapter onto your tool post and the chuck, or face plate, onto the adapter. Slip the tool post into your lathes banjo, adjust for height and location and lock. You can finish sand your work, apply a finish to your work with the grain running up and down rather that sideways, or securly hold your work for carving.
