Presenting, Willard Baxter's Thread Master. The most versatile Thread Milling Attachment available for wood lathes. Available for more than 50 different model wood lathes with swings from 9" to 24". Manufactured by, and sold exclusively in the United States by Best Wood Tools.

The Baxter's Thread Master offers more options and more features than any other threading attachment available. Choose from 8 different thread pitches (24, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, or 8). Choose the Spindle Head that matches your machine (1" x 8 TPI, 1-1/4" x 8 TPI, M30 x 3.5, or M33 x 3.5 with other sizes available on request). Only Baxter's Thread master was designed to allow you to turn your object on your favorite lathe and mill the threads on another lathe if you so desire, or use one lathe for both turning and milling. Simply match the spindle head to the lathe you wish to turn on and select the Thread Master for the lathe you wish to thread on. Example: Choose the Baxter's Thread Master for the Jet Mini Lathe and select the M33 x 3.5 Spindle Head. This allows you to turn on a Oneway 16", 20", or 24" lathe and thread on the Jet Mini.

Each Baxter's Thread Master comes complete with everything required to mill threads on your projects, including:

To order, select the Thread Master model below and choose the Spindle Head Size and Pitch from the options box. The 16 pitch thread is the most popular, but please choose the pitch you feel is appropriate for your projects. Then add any additional items shown below.

BAXTER'S THREAD MASTER

This Baxter's Thread Master was designed for all lathes from 9" swing to 12-1/2" swing. For milling threads to 3" diameter.

BAXTER'S THREAD MASTER

This Baxter's Thread Master was designed for all lathes up to 12-1/2" and includes the Auxiliary Slide. For milling threads to 5" diameter.

BAXTER'S THREAD MASTER

This Baxter's Thread Master was designed for all lathes 12-1/2" swing to 17" swing and includes the Auxiliary Slide. For milling threads to 5" diameter.

BAXTER'S THREAD MASTER

This Baxter's Thread Master was designed for all lathes 17" swing to 24" swing and includes the Auxiliary Slide. For milling threads to 5" diameter.

ADDITIONAL THREADING HEADS

To switch Threading Heads simply remove 3 screws and swap heads and you're ready to mill threads with a different pitch. Shown with optional Spindle Head - sold separately.

SPINDLE HEADS

Spindle Heads allow you to turn on different machines and thread on your current machine or to use face plates or chucks from other machines.

2" FACE PLATES

This is the standard Face Plate which comes with the 1" x 8 TPI Spindle Head. Order additional Face Plates to increase your production rate. Specifications: 2" outside diameter, 1-1/4" hex for wrench, and 3 screw holes.

2-1/4" FACE PLATES

This is the standard Face Plate which comes with the 1-1/4" x 8 TPI, M30 x 3.5, and M33 x 3.5 Spindle Heads. Order additional Face Plates to increase your production rate. Specifications: 2-1/4" outside diameter, 1-1/2" hex for wrench, and 6 screw holes
